Matthew Rickard has over 10 years of teaching experience. Matthew currently teaches the piano at Longacre School in Surrey, and is also available to give piano and music theory lessons in the Woking area. Lessons cost £17 for a 30 minute lesson and £34 for an hour, plus any transport costs. Lessons are paid for in advance usually in blocks of ten. If the student or parent wishes to cancel a lesson, I would be happy to rearrange if time allows, but if an alternative time can’t be found, I would expect the cancelled lesson to be paid for. A half terms notice is required to discontinue lessons.
Every pupil and teacher is different, therefore it’s important that everyone is comfortable before starting lessons, so I’m very happy to meet prospective parents and students at their home for an initial meeting/lesson free of charge with no obligation.
